Although I resist automating my Obsidian vault to allow me to focus on my own note-making and idea development, I have been very happy with the Readwise plugin that sweeps my Kindle highlights and Hypothesis annotations into an inbox in my vault so I can process them into notes.
Glad you "gave in" to Readwise plugin. Check out Smart Connections to make processing your notes even better -- using LOCAL AI processing (as an option to uploading to the cloud): [GitHub - brianpetro/obsidian-smart-connections: Chat with your notes & see links to related content with AI embeddings. Use local models or 100+ via APIs like Claude, Gemini, ChatGPT & Llama 3](https://github.com/brianpetro/obsidian-smart-connections).
Also check out [GitHub - Mossy1022/Smart-Connections-Visualizer: Visualize your notes and see links to related content with AI embeddings. Use local models or 100+ via APIs like Claude, Gemini, ChatGPT & Llama 3](https://github.com/Mossy1022/Smart-Connections-Visualizer).
Both are available Obsidian plugins in the Community plugins Options in Settings.
