Moving to Wordpress?

Unless someone can convince me to do both...

Hi friends! I’ve recently renewed a relatively inactive account at Wordpress and have begun planning on moving a couple of websites to it that I’ve allowed to sort-of languish out there. Once upon a time I bought domains and managed my own websites and blogs. I no longer have a lot of interest in that, and Wordpress seems to offer me a nice combination of tools for both static pages and blogging.

Since I’m doing that, I’m also considering whether it makes sense for me to have a substack blog as well?

While I’d be sad to lose any of you as readers, would anyone be against switching to reading my stuff on Wordpress? If you click that link, you’ll find a subscribe option on the top of the righthand sidebar.

OTOH, maybe there’s something I’m missing that makes this a bad idea. If that’s the case, please let me know!!
