Ranney Letters and History in 7

Busy today! I posted a couple of podcast versions of Ranney Letters 2 and 3, and also a History in 7 pod about Microhistory or doing history through telling the stories of unusual characters from the past. I was thinking about this as I started making these Ranney podcasts, and also in the context of my next project, which is about the white pine lumber industry. You can listen to those and subscribe to be notified as I post more.

And I also made a video of today’s Ranney Letter #3, because I wanted to show a couple of maps. I won’t always make a video of every Ranney letter, but you can subscribe to my YouTube channel too, and see what else I’m working on for my students, too.
