Transcript

When I got started making YouTube videos it was partly to provide tutorials for my students but it sort of morphed for a while into commenting on tools and technologies I used in my work. This was in the era when people like Shu Omi and Ali Abdaal were just taking off, so I thought this might be something to emulate. This is an early video I made (you might notice I didn’t even manage to address the fact the image is backwards!) that expands on an even earlier video that got a lot of response on YouTube (below).

Discussion about this podcast

MakingHistory
MakingHistory
Making History is the top-level thing I do, as a historian, teacher, and writer. I create content, based on either original primary research or to present the findings of other historians to my students. This channel will cover several topics I am researching or teaching, and reflections on the ways that history helps us understand our current world.
