Reaction to a Freakonomics podcast (#356)

My quick (6 minute) take on the Freakonomics treatment of Porter and Gehl’s 2017 article, “WHY COMPETITION IN THE POLITICS INDUSTRY IS FAILING AMERICA”, with some interview clips from the authors. I think they miss the point of Trump’s victory, which may have been an expression of nihilistic despair over just the duopoly they describe.
