Welcome to History Work History by me, Dan Allosso. I'm a history professor at a university in northern Minnesota. I write about my work, so generally about higher ed, history, teaching, relevance, technology, research, writing. I teach and write about Modern World, US, and Environmental History. I’m particularly interested in making history relevant for my students and readers, so they understand the series of choices people have made in the past that have brought us to the present moment. Hopefully increased understanding of the past will help us understand the choices we face in the present and will face in the future.
